*Bacon Weaved Stuffed Turkey

Updated: Jan 24, 2019

I love my new Air Fryer Oven! We made this...Bacon weaved stuffed turkey on Saturday. I followed the recipe that came with the oven. I will share it with you here.

2 - 3 lb. boneless turkey breast

10 strips thick bacon

Spinach

White cheese blend (Asagio, Parmesan, Mozarella, Provolone, etc.)

Bacon Pineapple Chicken Sausage (chopped into small pieces)

Directions:

Make bacon weave on parchment paper with 5 strips one way and 5 strips the other weaving like a checker board (over-under). Cut the turkey breast down the middle to butterfly the turkey and lay flat on the bacon weave. Layer filling on top of the turkey, spinach, cheese & sausage. You may just use stuffing for the filling if you prefer.

Roll the meats/filling and tie with string. Tie as many strings as you need to contain the meat and filling. Put the Rotisserie pole through the meat (as centered as you can) and add the forks to secure the meat on the pole.

Set your Air Fryer Oven to 400* and cook for 45 - 60 minutes. Use the rotisserie setting and increase the cooking time. Cook until internal temperature of turkey reads 160*.

We served this with asparagus and cauliflower mash.
