*Creamy Seafood Sauce

Updated: Jun 30, 2021

I'm hoping I can get some pictures to work, but if not, this new recipe is so easy and delicious I just have to share. A nice lady at the market in Sea View, Washington shared this with me as a way to prepare the seafood I was buying.

Ingredients:

1 (7.5 oz) container of Onion & Chives Cream Cheese

2 Tablespoons Butter

1 -2 Tablespoons Fresh Basil, chopped, to taste

1 -2 Tablespoon Minced Garlic, to taste

1 container sliced Mushrooms

6 Jumbo Prawns, 8 Scallops or 6 - 8 (2") squares of Halibut (any of these options worked really well with this sauce.

Micro-greens/sprouts

Directions:

  1. Over medium heat, melt butter and cream chees in large 12"-inch skillet and add basil, garlic and mushrooms. The sauce may be thick, but that's okay. It will thin out once you add the seafood.

2. Nestle seafood of your choice in the sauce and cook over medium heat for 3 minutes on each side, until seafood is flaky or opaque in color.

3. Serve over rice or cauliflower rice and top with micro-greens.
