*Dried Fruit

Don't want all those extra preservatives and sugar in your snack. Dry your own fruit with your Air Fryer Oven.

Dried fruit makes a great healthy snack, and is a lot better for you than the store bought stuff. These are great for food storage or nice road trip snacks. Let me tell you how to do this.

Ingredients:

Sweet cherries

White Peaches

Directions:

Cut cherries in half and take out the pit. Place cherries on the Air Fryer trays in a single layer. Use the "fruit/dehydrator" setting. Increase the temperature to 125*. Set the timer for 6 - 8 hours. Check to see if they cherries are dry. If some are still pretty moist, do this for another 6 - 8 hours. Cherries took me about 20 hours as they are so plump.

For White Peaches, cut peach in half. Take out the pit and slice the peach into thin slices. Then place peaches on the air fryer trays. Use the "fruit/dehydrator" setting. Increase the temperature to 125*. Set the timer for 6 - 8 hours. Check to see if they are dry. If they are still moist, repeat the cooking cycle for another 4 - 6 hours. Peaches don't take as long to dry as they are thinner when placed on the trays.

Keep in Ziploc bag or air tight container for storage.
